Direct Bikes 125cc Cruiser Scooter
A 125cc 4-Stroke Engine Scooter thats damn cheap, Branded Direct Bikes although it is a Jinlun JL125T-12 Model scooter. Comes with an NGK Sparkplug before you go ripping it apart thinking you need to replace it. The Wiki owner Currently owns this scooter if you have one contact me!

Important tips
- When registering your bike register it as Manufacturer : Direct Bikes and Model : JL125T-12 NOT DB125T-12
- Check all nuts and Bolts (including wheels) WEEKLY Trust me I did then after missing out a week all my bolts fell out!

My DB125T-12 is on its 2,500 mile since august 25th 2008 (It's Now Jan 3rd 2009) and it's still going strong!
i have a jl125t-12a on a 58 plate, 2735 miles on the clock at present, i enjoy riding the bike very much it keeps up with the 2009 vespa 125 and does at maximum 70mph on a good day, i have been through 2 exhausts and 2 fairings underneath the foot plates though :( if anyone knows of an exhaust for this model could they contact me on L9david@hotmail.com cheers
Problem solving
- If your cruiser scooter's engine cuts out when you slow down and you find you can start it again but then if you put on some throttle it cuts straight back out again. Open the seat remove the cover (helmet storage) part undoing the 4 bolts that hold it on then look for either wet elctrical components and/or connectors or if you scooters dirty try discoonecting the CDI (A black square box strapped to the frame by a big ruber band) pull the two big connectors out and try to dry them or blow on them to explel dust, This has just got me going again other times it has been water in the coil connections…
- To Disconnect the side stand safety cut-out follow the wire from the cutoff switch along that line should be a connector. Unplug it and tape up the connector with electrical tape, Just remember this is a safety feature so removing it may not be the wisest of things, Although In my personal experience I got water in the connector and thus had a non functioning bike and its probably one of the last things you'd think off!!
