Welcome to The Scooter Wiki

This website is a Wiki which means your free to create and edit all it's pages. What my goal is here is to create just one place to get all your scooter knowledge. I'd prefer if you create a page that it's specific to a type and make. I.E. no topics saying 'how to change the oil on a scooter' more 'How to change the oil on a Jinlun JL125T-12' Every scooters different and if someone has created that page and you have a different bike your you could copy the the content of the page to create a new one then modify the specifics to fit your scooter! That's what a WIKI is all about.

So go ahead create as you like help others, start turning those crazy chinese scooter manuals into something more readable or explain in detail how to get your honda scooter working….

In the top right corner you will see the Search box either search for the page your looking for or use the contents menu below. to create a page first SEARCH for an existing page as above if it is not found click Create Page.

To keep the wiki organised we use a thing called namespaces they are where we group certain wiki pages i.e. Direct Bikes 125cc Cruiser Scooter is firstly in the directbikes group which itself is inside the scooters group by looking at the menu below you can see how there is a scooters folder then by clicking it you get the directbikes folder and inside of that is the Direct Bikes 125cc Cruiser Scooter page. Now to create that you simply search without quotes 'scooters:directbikes:db125t-12' as you can see the colon : breaks up the group the last word after : will always be the page name

To create a more interesting title every page that has been created will need to have a H1 (Level 1 Headline) as the very first text, this H1 header is how you see the 'Welcome to The Scooter Wiki' above and not the actual pagename which is 'Welcome'

Click on them to go to them then click create page to start writing them up Infact anything that has a dashed line underneath and is red means its a page that needs to be created so if you see them on pages feel free to start creating the page by clicking the red link then selecting create page
